MISSONS TRIPS

 

Several members of our church family are actively involved in missions work and trips taken to spread God's message to His people. Our youth also get involved and several of them have participated in missions work around the globe. Take a look and see what our Church family members have been doing. This area will be updated as the various trips are taken.

Sean took a team of our youth to Belize.

Holly Christie took a trip to Rawanda. She will pass on photos and some information about her trip as soon as possible, busy person as she is. She is off on another missions trip as she is part of the Belize teamheading off on the Belize trip

September 24th 2007
Russell went back to Orlando for the School of Ministry and Evangelism. (SOME). The Great Commission was given by Jesus almost 2,000 years ago, yet this assignment is still unfinished! The School Of Ministry & Evangelism (SOME) is designed to prepare laborers to work in the fields that are "ripe for harvest."

The vision of the SOME is to prepare people to be world changers and equip them to help complete the Great Commission.

Sean and Vera O'Byrne took a team to Belize to share a Daily Vacation Bible School with the children there.

March Break 2007

January 2007
Russell Lockhart went to Orlando for the YWAM Discipleship training program. He spent 3 month in Orlando doing training then the team went to India for 2 months to put into practice what they had learned

Summer 2006
Karli Rockbrun joined YWAM (Youth with a mission) and participated in in 3 months Discipleship training in Australia and 2 months missions work in Malaysia.
